Self-destruct timer

Messages disappear on both phones this many seconds after they are read. 5 seconds unless you change it; 60 is the longest.

Chat options

The chat is wiped the moment you leave Shoply, and a shop screen opens first every time. It also locks itself after 15 seconds untouched, or when you tap the lock icon at the top. Hold the shop logo for 3 seconds to get to the chat.

Verify encryption

Compare these with the other person's screen, in person or on a call. If they match, nobody is listening in. Calls use the same keys for their setup.

This ends the chat for both of you and destroys the keys on both phones. It cannot be undone.
